When was the last time you saw a mirror?
It's been ages and I am scared now,
These scars, these pains makes me feel old and ugly.
When was the last time you talked to someone?
Yesterday, or a week before, I don't remember,
I hardly get  any time and people they make me depress.
When was the last time you tried something new?
Today, it was a soothing journey.
Would you like to take me with you ?
Just close your eyes, deep breathe in and let's dive.

Want to play Hide and Seek?
It's the same story every night
The Eyes, it tries harder every time
But sleep like an invisible man,
It's nearly impossible to find
It's 3 'o clock again and it's time
Like an everyday ritual, a thought knocks by
The life, the people beside, this existence is it worth by
A seeker I dive down like Theseus without strings
There is a pain deep inside
I want to scream and Shout
Or run away and hide.

It's very dark and  lonely out here
My friends, the stars, they smile only to slide into obscurity
A stalker I chase the dark night around
Unsure and outbound full of curiosity,
Sometimes I peek through the windows to find someone to chat around
Of tale of kings and queens, war and peace I want to share
It's bright,it hurts,it's my time to drown
A promise to be back again
A loner, A stalker and a storyteller
Of tale of kings and queens, war and peace I want to share

The woods, it's mystic, it speaks about life.
The woods, it's morning, it chirps along with the birds.
The woods, it's afternoon, it burns along with the sun.
The woods, it's evening, it flirts with the wind.
The woods, it's night, it crawls along the demons inside.
The woods, it's eternal, it speaks about time.
The woods, it's mystic, it teaches you life.

The world is at war over water. Goldman Sachs describes it as “the petroleum of the next century”. Disputes over water tend to start small and local – for instance, with the sort of protests that drought-stricken São Paolo has experienced in the year 2015. But minor civil unrest can quickly mushroom, as the bonds of civilisation snap. This article was published in NEWSWEEK in the year 2015 and it briefly explores on all the issues related to the world water problem and how they are acting as a catalyst in making one of mankind's biggest nightmare a shocking reality. The full article is accessible from here The World Will Soon be at War Over Water.

From our primary classes we were taught that about 71 percent of the Earth's surface is water-covered but what as hardly emphasised is that only 2.5 percent of it is fresh. The rest is saline and ocean-based. Even then, just 1 percent of our freshwater is easily accessible, with much of it trapped in glaciers and snowfields.

We all have about Cape Town, the beautiful port city of South Africa famous for its harbour and beaches but what most of us don't know is that the Beautiful city of Cape Town is on its way in achieving a feat which no other city or country would like to achieve. In a matter of few weeks, Cape Town will be the very first city in the world to completely run out of water.More can be read in details regarding the ongoing water crisis in Cape Town here Cape Town Water Crisis

Water and Air constitute the two most important element required for life to thrive and imbalance in any of these will have major consequences with Cape Town being an example. This drought in Cape Town will hit the economy of South Africa very hard affecting sectors like Agriculture, Tourism to mention few. This article in CNBC explores the economic scene of Cape Town and its consequences Cape Town is running out of water, and no one knows what economic impact that will have.

With Cape Town being the first, Bangalore is considered to be second in line and run out of water as early as 2023. This brings us to the most import question what exactly can be the reason behind this natural man-made calamity.

1. The First and the foremost is Climate Change, the condition in Cape Town is an alarming signal for all of us and it should unite the entire world in believing that it's not a hoax, Climate Change is Real and its happening now. The carbon emission from the first world country in the name of industrialization alone has brought a lot of imbalance in the ecological cycle and has turned our summers into winter and winter into summer.

2.The ever-growing population and lack of planning.More the Population more is the requirement...its a simple math and if a proper planning is not carried out the situation can escalate to an extent that it cant be curbed down.

3. Lack of Public Awareness.

So what can be done this parasite curbs the entire world and we go into water with each other over a drop of water.
Good Education begins at home and lets' start it creating awareness about saving water first among our own family members and then slowly taking it the other relatives and even the neighbourhood we live in.
Rain is nature's answer to the water problem the world is facing currently and we should ever prepare to take up the opportunity nature is providing and use it to own benefits. The culture of Rain Water Harvesting has increased over the last few decades but its still far behind it true potential. Water harvesting should be taken into serious account and the government should come up with more policies encouraging it both in urban and rural areas.

With the Golden Globes embarking the award season couple of weeks back, The Academy too announced its list of nominations for the 90th Academy Awards popularly known as The Oscars last week. Like any other time, it was full of surprises and snubs and not getting into them lets head to the point straight the nominations particularly to the Best Picture.

And the nominees for the Best Picture are:

Call Me by Your Name
Darkest Hour

Dunkirk
Get Out
Lady Bird
Phantom Thread
The Post
The Shape of Water
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

The full list of nominations can br found here: 90th Oscars Nominations

Last year Moonlight won the best picture in the most dramatic manner and left most of the La La Land fans heartbroken(Oh, it deserved to be there). So this time I thought of watching all the nominated movie before the Oscars are handed out in March, review them(as if anyone cares) and put my bet on the one that takes me down with it.

So let's begin our en route to the Oscars with the random review(sounds cool???) of the very first movie from the list  " Call Me By Your Name".

Movie: Call Me by Your Name

Genre: Drama, Romance

Running Time:2h 12mins

Director: Luca Guadagninoke

Writers: James Ivory (screenplay by), André Aciman (based on the novel)

Stars: Armie Hammer, Timothée Chalamet, Michael Stuhlbarg

Based on André Aciman's 2007 novel of the same name it is the third and final instalment in Guadagnino's thematic Desire trilogy, following I Am Love (2009) and A Bigger Splash (2015).Set somewhere in Northern Italy in 1983, the movie explores the romantic relationship between Elio Perlman (Timothée Chalamet), a 17-year-old living in Italy, and his father's American assistant, Oliver (Armie Hammer).

Elio Perlman, like any other 17- year-old , spends his days  playing classical music, reading, and flirting with his friend Marzia played by Esther Garrel(I am still drooling over her) until he meets Oliver, a young handsome grad student and how he goes from not liking him at first instance to physically and emotionally attracted and attached to him.As the story unfolds over the 6 weeks of Oliver's stay with the Perlman's  both Elio and Oliver come very close to each other. The movie ends with Oliver calling Elio informing him that he is getting married soon.Over the conversation, Elio asks Oliver of the time they were together? Did it mean anything to him? to which Oliver replies he remembers everything and will cherish them over his life.

Like Elio, the movie explores the life of every teenager beset by raging hormones, every adolescent not yet formed, who alternates between longing and terror, flight or fight or fuck, in whom male and female sides still struggle for domination or truce. The struggle is only slightly compounded by same-sex taboo, and the suspense, such as it is, is not whether but when. The movie beautifully touches the topic of homosexuality with some picturesque setting and great background score.

Poetically Artistic Call Me by Your Name is a  movie you don't want to end. The movie takes you places and you believe that you're in that place in time with all your feelings hooked to all senses and fall into pure love.
